The Certificate III in Nail Technology may also be utilised as a stepping stone to higher qualifications in beauty therapy or related industries.

SHB30215 Certificate III in Make-Up

The Certificate III in Make-up (SHB30215) is a nationally recognised qualification under the Hairdressing and Beauty Services Training package (SHB). The Certificate III in Beauty Services (SHB30115) is a nationally recognised qualification under the Hairdressing and Beauty services training package (SHB).

This qualification has been designed for those individuals who wish to be employed as beauticians, providing a range of beauty services including waxing, intimate waxing, lash and brow treatments, manicure, pedicure, tanning, basic make-up services, eyelash extensions as well as advising on beauty products and services and all the employability skills required to undertake this position to the highest level.

SHB40115 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy

The Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy (SHB40115) is a nationally recognised qualification under the Hairdressing and Beauty Services Training package (SHB).

This qualification has been designed for those individuals who wish to be employed as Beauty Therapists, providing a range of beauty treatments and services, including waxing, intimate waxing, lash and brow treatments, manicure, pedicure, tanning, basic make-up services, eyelash extensions, body massage, body treatments, facial treatments, acrylic and gel nails as well as advising on beauty products and services and all the employability skills required to undertake this position to the highest level. Work is typically conducted in beauty salons and day spas.
