Declaration of Authenticity

I declare that all work I submit for assessment during my enrolment at WA Academy is my own original work, unless otherwise clearly acknowledged.

I confirm that:

• All assessment tasks completed outside of WA Academy have been completed by me without unauthorised assistance.
• I have not copied, plagiarised, or used another person’s work (in whole or in part) without proper acknowledgement.
• All submitted work meets the requirements of valid, authentic, current, and sufficient assessment evidence.
• I understand that plagiarism, collusion, or any form of academic misconduct may result in disciplinary action, including the requirement to resubmit work or withdrawal from the unit or course.

Use of Third-Party Assistance & AI Tools

I understand that:

• Any assistance from third parties (including tutors, peers, or external services) must be limited to general guidance only and must not result in work that is not my own.
• Unless explicitly permitted by WA Academy, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools or content generators to produce assessment work is not allowed and may be considered academic misconduct if not properly disclosed or authorised.

Attendance, Participation & Conduct

I agree to:

• Attend scheduled classes and participate actively in all learning activities.
• Follow all WA Academy policies, procedures, and reasonable instructions from trainers and staff.
• Maintain respectful and professional behaviour towards staff, fellow students, and the learning environment.
• Take responsibility for my own learning progress and completion of all required assessments.

Privacy & Records

I understand that:

• WA Academy will securely store my assessment records and personal information in accordance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
• My assessment results and progress may be shared with relevant regulatory or funding bodies if required by law.

Student Agreement

By signing this declaration, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with the above conditions as a requirement of my enrolment at WA Academy.
