This course is designed for the industry professional wanting to embark on a career in the area of Special Effects Makeup. It aims to equip students with the skills, knowledge and outlook necessary for success working as a professional Makeup Artist in their chosen field of the entertainment and multimedia industry. It covers practically every aspect of makeup artistry.
You want to embark on a professional career as a Makeup Artist. No prior experience in makeup artistry is necessary, provided you have the passion and determination to succeed with the WA

The course encompasses: colour theory, camouflage, concealer, foundation, lips, eyes, shading, glamour techniques, fashion parade/catwalk, Special occasion, mature aged makeup, photographic makeup including photo shoots, theatrical, cultural, Geisha, Egyptian, Drag, Character, Fantasy, Period, airbrushing and Hair styling for makeup artists.
The special effects side includes: facial hair, burns/blisters, cuts & wounds, scars, bruising, and prosthetics.
