Advanced Makeup Part-Time
(Pre requisite Certificate II Makeup services)
This course is designed for those that are either already working as Makeup Artists or have completed the Certificate II Makeup Services or equivalent and are aiming to expand their makeup skills and knowledge to an advanced level. This course is delivered part time to cater for those working or with full time commitments.
The advance makeup course is designed for students who are wanting to pursue a serious career as a professional Makeup artist, by studying this course you will open up options beyond those that you can possibly achieve in the Certificate II level qualification and be able to work in the areas of TV, fashion, photography, catwalk, editorial and training.
This course is very similar to the Diploma Special Effects but does not focus on Theatrical or special effects makeup. Techniques that you will learn are: Advanced Colour Theory, Camouflage, concealer, advanced lip techniques, glamour eye techniques, fashion parade/catwalk. We focus on Fashion, photographic, film and air brushing.
