Cheryl Smith

Soon after beginning her Apprenticeship in 1992, Cheryl knew that she had found a passion for hairdressing and was dedicated to a successful career in the industry.

Cheryl worked for Volona & Associates for nine years from being a first year Apprentice through to a Management role. She then moved to London where she continued to train and diversity her skills in hairdressing. This is where her love for the industry developed into a desire to teach hairdressing.

Having won several awards in London, Cheryl returned to Perth and joined WA Academy as a Hairdressing Lecturer. She is thrilled to part of the WA Academy hairdressing team, which gives her the opportunity to pass on her knowledge and enthusiasm to the hairdressing students that are the future of the industry.
