DIPLOMA OF HAIRDRESSING SALON MANAGEMENT

The Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management has been designed for Owners and Managers who wish to develop their skills and knowledge in relation to the successful running of a hairdressing salon. Participants do not need to be hairdressers to complete this qualification, it is open to hairdressers and non hairdressers alike.
Likely functions in the hairdressing industry for managers and owners include recruiting and selecting staff, managing the service and sales delivery in a salon, promoting & marketing a hairdressing business, managing finances, leading and managing people skills, promoting team effectiveness to name a few.
At the WA Academy we believe that managing any business is an art in its own right and just like hairdressing skills we studied these and perfected them, management is no different.
These are not skills that most acquire and to fulfill this role to its best ability learning the different skills and knowledge set is critical to maximizing success.
The course is cost effective and time effective for those that are already working in a salon and therefore classes are held predominantly in the evening although day classes are available on demand.
