CERTIFICATE IV IN HAIRDRESSING

WRH40109

Pre-requisite: Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent.

The Certificate IV in Hairdressing is a qualification for hairdressers who wish to gain recognition for attaining a more advanced level of hairdressing both in practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

This qualification is ideal for hairdressers wishing to further their career in the Platform/Artist arena, Salon Management / co-ordination or Training and Education. There are three streams within the Certificate IV qualification.

  1. Artistic stream
  2. Business/Salon Management Stream
  3. Training/Education Stream

The Candidates will in most cases be able to access some units via Recognition of Prior Learning and will only be required to submit evidence suitable to RPL them through the unit. Other units however will require face to face classes to ensure competence at the Certificate IV level. Each candidate will be interviewed prior to enrolment to establish their specific evaluation. At this point costings and allocation of RPL/face to face can be decided on.

This qualification can be achieved with minimal cost and minimal fuss depending on the previous experience and evidence of the applicant.
