About WA Academy
The Western Australian Academy of Hairdressing offers a wide choice of courses and qualifications for the hairdressing industry. Ranging from beginner courses for those wanting to investigate and embark on a career in hairdressing through to Qualifications for those that are interested in managing and teaching others in this exciting industry.
Conveniently located on Albany Highway in the Bentley Commercial Centre, the Academy opened in January 2010. With its state of the art facility, it is the ideal choice for any Employer or Apprentice/Trainee.

We provide an environment that is conducive to self paced and flexible learning and can offer tailored training to suit you and your salon. Our courses and qualifications are open to trainees, apprentices, senior stylists, salon managers and hairdressing trainers.
With the WA Academy being the only provider of hairdressing, beauty therapy, make-up and nail courses we are able to cater our training to your specific salon and stylists needs. For example we are able to offer make-up units, acrylic nail units, waxing units or barbering units as part of the apprentice training depending on the needs of your work place. This flexibility ensures that your stylists are being trained by passionate specialists in these fields – the scope of delivery is amazing.
