This is the qualification that enables you to work as a barber. It is the apprenticeship pathway and is recognised both nationally and internationally.
The Certificate III in Barbering involves employment as an apprentice hairdresser in a full or part time capacity working in a salon and attending WA Academy one day per week.
WA Academy is an alternative choice for apprenticeship training, open to all salons owners to enrol their barbering apprentices. Staying in line with industry needs and with the ability to tailor training delivery to suite the salon and the apprentice.
