SHB30315 Certificate III in Nail Technology
The Certificate III in Nail Technology (SHB30315) is a nationally recognised qualification under the Hairdressing and Beauty Services Training package (SHB).
This qualification has been designed for those individuals who wish to be employed as a nail technician to provide manicure and pedicare services, including the application and use of nail art, electric drill, acrylic and gel nail enhancements.
These individuals possess a range of well-developed technical customer and service skills where discretion and judgement is required and are responsible for their own work outputs.
This includes client consultations on nail care products and services. Nail technicians may also be self-employed and responsible for managing their own nail station. Work is typically conducted in a nail or beauty salon.
The Certificate III in Nail Technology may also be utilised as a stepping stone to higher qualifications in beauty therapy or related industries.

|Course Cost||Payment in Full $2,000: $1,500 deposit on enrolment and balance of $500 to be paid at stage 2 of enrolment. Payment Plan $2,200: $300 deposit on enrolment balance $271.44 direct deposit seven fortnightly payments Included in cost – full acrylic kit, full gel kit, implement kit, all products, equipment and learners guides required to complete this qualification other than those listed under student requirements below.|

Portfolio: WA Academy utilizes in some units portfolios, assignments and log books to allow formative assessment through the duration of the qualification these are completed outside of class and at the students cost.
