SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services
The Certiﬁcate III in Beauty Services (SHB30115) is a nationally recognised qualiﬁcation under the Hairdressing and Beauty services training package (SHB).
This qualiﬁcation has been designed for those individuals who wish to be employed as beauticians, providing a range of beauty services including waxing, intimate waxing, lash and brow treatments, manicure, pedicure, tanning, basic make-up services, eyelash extensions as well as advising on beauty products and services and all the employability skills required to undertake this position to the highest level.
These individuals possess a range of well-developed technical and customer service skills where discretion and judgement is required and are responsible for their own outputs. This includes client consultation on beauty products and services. Work is typically conducted in beauty, waxing, brow and nail salons.
The Certiﬁcate III in Beauty Services (SHB30115) may also be utilised as a stepping stone to higher qualiﬁcations. Suggested qualiﬁcations are Certiﬁcate IV in Beauty Therapy (SHB40115) or Diploma of Beauty Therapy (SHB50115).

|Course Cost||Payment In Full $3,000: $1,500 deposit on enrolment and $1,500 balance at half way point. Payment Plan $3,500: $500 deposit on enrolment balance $88.24 per week (direct debit fortnightly) Included in cost – all products, equipment and learners guides required to complete this qualification other than those listed under student requirements below.|

Beauty units: Students will be required to supply a towelling body wrap and headband for beauty units – these are available for purchase at WA Academy.
Makeup units: Students will be required to supply mascara and disposable mascara wands – these are available for purchase at WA Academy.
Portfolio: WA Academy utilizes in some units portfolios, assignments and log books to allow formative assessment through the duration of the qualiﬁcation these are completed outside of class and at the students cost.
WA Academy have a set uniform for this qualiﬁcation and the uniform is compulsory for attendance. Allow approximately $300 for a Beauty tunic and dress pants.
