The Hairstyling for Make-up Artists Program is a program designed from part of the Certiﬁcate III in Make-up (SHB30215) under the Hairdressing and Beauty Services Training package (SHB). This program has been designed for those individuals who wish to as professional make-up artists add value to their clientele by way of hair styling. The units covered in this program are Style Hair for Performances or Productions. Ensuring the ability to prepare the work area, consult with clients, select suitable products and equipment for successful outcomes in hair styling.

The Hairstyling for Make-up Artist Program may be a stand-alone program or utilized as a stepping stone to a full Certiﬁcate III in Make-up (SHB30215) or other make-up qualiﬁcations.

|Requirements||Hair units: Students will be required to supply their own professional blow-dryer, GHD or equivalent ironing and curling appliances, Brushes and combs – these are available for purchase at WA Academy. Portfolio: WA Academy utilizes in some units portfolios, assignments and log books to allow formative assessment through the duration of the qualiﬁcation these are completed outside of class and at the students cost|
WA Academy have a set uniform top for this qualiﬁcation and the uniform is compulsory for attendance and must be purchased from WA Academy prior to commencing.
