The Certificate IV in Screen and Media is a nationally recognised qualification under the Creative Arts and Culture Training Package.
This qualification has been designed for those individuals who wish to be employed in the creative arts arena as a specialised makeup artist. With specialist units focusing on designing and applying makeup, designing and applying specialist make-up, airbrushing, makeup for photography, styling hair, wigs and hairpieces for performance and productions and much more. Whether you are destined for the hustling backstage of a runway show, magazine and print campaigns, theatre or film this course will equip you with the skills and expertise to succeed in the make-up industry.

Makeup units: Students are required to supply for hygiene reasons their own mascara and will be supplied mascara wands in class.
Portfolio: WA Academy utilizes in some units portfolios, assignments and log books to allow formative assessment through the duration of the qualiﬁcation. These are completed outside of class and at the student’s cost.
